The California Here I Run Project explores the state county by county, in no particular order. Cassandra J. Johnson is in the process of compiling her running experiences according to which CA county they took place, documenting each race and adding a few salient facts and things to do and sites to see.
As she posts each county on her blog, she contributes to Kershaw’s Challenge.
Along with traveling to counties yet to run, Cassandra is publishing a three volume set of her dad’s stories about boyhood in the midwest, the Great Depression, and WWII.

What a well done site! I am looking forward to reading more of Don’s stories, what insight. How long did he keep the journal? I didn’t notice was there a date on the poem? I’m looking forward to the next addition.
